How to write a blog post that will work?

Text is a powerful sales tool, but it is not always effective. The main thing here is the right approach to writing, informativeness and usefulness. How to create such texts?

8 out of 10 authors do not know how to write sales articles, do not know how to define the target audience and interest them, fall into graphomania and banally start spamming. Frankly advertising texts, where in almost every sentence you can find buy , order , to order , or inexpensively , cause readers only irritation, and therefore have extremely low effectiveness.

How to write blog text that will work?

Copywriting should be treated as a sales tool. If you know how to use it, you will be able to do any task - from product descriptions, advertising articles or motivational texts in a category.

1. A catchy headline

The minimum task is to hook the reader even before opening the article. What is seen first? That's right, the title. It should attract attention, arouse interest in reading. A good headline will make the reader want to know "what's next?".

Hint at the personal benefit of reading the article. It is not necessary to lie, but it is very necessary to present the benefits in the right perspective. You need to work on this skill very seriously: a good title will profitably distinguish the article from the "gray" texts of other bloggers!

2. Hold the reader from the very first line

A great headline and sick text is a recipe worse than herring with milk. If the first paragraph is boring, the reader will close the page, blog, browser, computer in horror. And will never return.

Before writing a new article, you need to carefully think through the first 2-3 lines, and even before the title is invented. The power of writing - make the reader's imagination work in your favor. Intrigue, fantasize, but within reasonable limits - the first lines of the text should make the user read the text to the end.

3. Be convincing in everything you write about

5. Use lists in texts

A blog article is a text that is convenient to read diagonally. Lists, paragraphs, logical selections, subheadings - anything that transforms a text from a boring pile of letters into a visually attractive text is useful.

Information from text with lists, subheadings and paragraphs is much easier to digest than from a "sheet" on a couple of screens. Most likely, no one will read the text without visualization. Respect your readers' time!

6. Make meaningful and interesting subtitles

It would seem like obvious advice, but for some reason many people do without internal headings. Firstly, it improves readability, and secondly, it allows you to "keep" the reader in constant interest, forcing him to read further and further.

We remember commandment #1, subtitles should also be catchy!

7. Submit texts in the form of independent stories

Man loves intrigue. Fact: thrillers sell far better than boring reference books or encyclopedias. Soap operas collect billions in box office, but there is no need to talk about action films, thrillers and other pictures with shootouts and murders - they are known and loved to watch everything.

Tracing the "thread" of the plot, the viewer watches the film to the end, along the way being fascinated by extraneous events. When filling the blog, follow the same principle: you need to keep the reader in suspense until the last line!

"Main character" in blog stories is an excellent choice. Introduce the reader to him in the first paragraph. Difficult fate, constant trials, fictional "villains" are mandatory attributes of such stories. There is never enough intrigue! Sometimes be distracted by extraneous events, flashbacks, you can even imagine a couple of moments, but don't overdo it.

What's next? Traditional happy ending. The reader will be delighted!

8. Intrigue wherever you can

Readers should feel with the heroes of the blog. Any text can be revived - even a boring "sheet" about the release of a new cultivator model and its comparison with the previous version.

A new cultivator model Ku-210 has appeared at Silhospshchostamtake, which is destined to reach all the fields of the country, because everything about it is good - the color, the ease of operation, and... and in general everything! And everything would be fine, but the competitors began to interfere in every possible way - either they will organize a raiding party, or they will lower the prices of their products.

The reader is already intrigued - what will happen next, who will win?

We gradually introduce a new hero. A villainous competitor who leaves false reviews in the product card. Then more - one-to-one copied drawings. But the solution is close.

The antipode of the main character goes to court for the production of unlicensed products, and our company adds a powerful walk-behind tractor to its cultivator. Final and irrevocable - evil is defeated, good triumphs.

Our hero improves products to become stronger. And no matter what tricks competitors build, a high-quality cultivator, developed honestly and with love, has become a sales leader.

Reading such a detective story will be much more interesting than "Our products are the best, and our managers will be happy to help."

Intrigue, keep in suspense! Such a text will quickly get into the TOP-100 Google results.

9. Use multimedia content

A bright headline, a pitiful story, an unexpected ending - all this is important and necessary, but you cannot do without pictures and videos. No one wants to read white text on a black background - the era of Web 1.0 cannot be brought back, and to hell with it.

Interest in the text should be reinforced with thematic pictures, photos and videos. But again, in moderation.

Do not forget that the main thing in your situation is the text, and too many images can spoil it. Secondly, such visualization content must be of high quality. Otherwise, the company's image will only suffer - users are easily able to distinguish an expensive picture from a cheap "anything goes".

In general, support the text with pictures, video inserts and tables - this way you will diversify the text, and the reader will have something to "grab on".

10. Complete texts correctly

We went back and forth with the reader following the text and then bang! The story ended. The reader may not forgive this.

Decided to write an article for the blog? Do you want to end it in such a way as not to leave controversial and unspoken moments. If you feel that questions will appear during reading, answer them at the end of the text. Or vice versa - ask readers what they think about it and provoke a war in the comments. Duh-uh-uh-already useful!

The reader should get what he hoped for at the very beginning, when he sat down to read the article. Conclusions, "what happened", important points - reveal the topic completely without leaving "dark spots".

11. Write without plagiarism and copying

If a person wants to read a professional author, he will do it without you. That is, it is not necessary to deliberately copy someone else's writing style. Write from your own "I", which distinguishes you from millions of authors!

Never blog because you haven't written in a while. Or if you want to share something new with the reader. In the first case, you don't need to look for inspiration, in the second case, it's better to rest, but never write for a tick.
