Meta Tags and Open Graph Generator

Meta tags and Open Graph with a snippet preview.

This is how Google will show it

example.com › page Розробка сайтів під ключ — BB STUDIO Створення сайтів під ключ: лендінги, корпоративні сайти, магазини.

Paste the generated code into the page <head>. You can verify the result with our “Meta tags and Open Graph” checker.

Lengths that do not get truncated

Google measures pixel width, not characters. These limits are a practical guide for staying fully visible.

Title 50–60 characters. Longer and it is cut with an ellipsis, so nobody reads the end.
Description 140–160 characters. Google may substitute its own snippet, but a well-written description is usually kept.
og:title Up to 60 characters. This is what people see when the link is shared on social networks and messengers.
og:description Up to 200 characters — the limit is higher than in search, so you can say more.

Writing a title people click

Key phrase first The eye reads the first two or three words. A phrase at the end goes unnoticed among ten results.
One page, one intent Cramming five keywords in makes the title unreadable and helps none of them.
Specifics over filler “From $300” beats “quality and affordable”. A number gives a reason to click this result.
Different titles per page Duplicate titles across pages are flagged in Search Console, and Google decides for itself which to show.

Commonly forgotten

A social preview image Without og:image a link in a messenger looks like a bare line. With one, people open it far more often.
Canonical URL When a page is reachable at several URLs, canonical says which one is primary.
Language versions hreflang tags link translations so Google shows the right language in the right country.
A description per page One description copied site-wide is worse than none: Google writes its own anyway, and trust drops.

FAQ

How long should the title and description be?
Google truncates the title at roughly 580 pixels, which is about 60 characters, and the description at around 160. These are guidelines rather than hard limits: the engine may show its own description tailored to the query. What matters is putting the essentials first, because those are the words people actually read.
Why do I need Open Graph and what should og:image be?
Open Graph controls how a link looks when shared on Facebook, Telegram, LinkedIn or a messenger. Without these tags the network picks a random image from the page — often a logo or an icon. The optimal image is 1200×630 pixels, JPG or PNG, under 1 MB. The image URL must be absolute and use https, otherwise some services will not load it.
Do I need the keywords tag?
No. Google has officially ignored meta keywords since 2009 because the tag was too easy to abuse. We deliberately do not generate it: it does not help, it takes up space in the code and it sometimes tells competitors exactly which queries you are targeting.
