How Much a Turnkey Online Store Costs in 2026

A turnkey online store in 2026 costs between ₴25,000 and ₴250,000. The tenfold spread has a simple explanation: the word “store” covers both a site with twenty products and card payments, and a system with stock synchronisation, several warehouses and marketplace feeds.

Let us look at what makes up the price, what each platform costs, and what eats the budget after launch.

The short answer

Option Price Timeline Products
On a ready template ₴15,000 – 30,000 10–20 days up to 100
Turnkey with custom design ₴35,000 – 80,000 25–45 days up to 2,000
With integrations and sync ₴80,000 – 150,000 1.5–3 months unlimited
Custom development from ₴150,000 from 3 months complex logic

Our configurations are listed on the online store development page.

What each platform costs

The platform affects both the initial price and the monthly bill. These are two separate budgets, and the second is often forgotten.

Platform Development Monthly Note
WooCommerce ₴25,000 – 70,000 hosting ₴300–800 flexible, needs maintenance
OpenCart ₴25,000 – 60,000 hosting ₴300–800 familiar on the Ukrainian market
Shopify ₴20,000 – 50,000 from ₴1,500 + fees fast start, less freedom
Horoshop, Prom ₴10,000 – 25,000 from ₴1,000 rented, the site is not yours
Custom build from ₴120,000 hosting + support when nothing off-the-shelf fits

We compared them in detail in how to choose an e-commerce platform.

What makes up the development cost

Catalogue and filters. The largest part of the work. A store with 50 products in one category and a store with 5,000 products filtered by size, colour and brand are different orders of task. Filters count separately: each parameter has to be designed on both the database and the interface side.

Product page. Gallery, variations, stock status, related items, reviews. It looks like a detail, but this is where people decide to buy.

Cart and checkout. The narrowest point of any store. Every extra step loses part of your buyers, so this part is built carefully.

Payment and delivery. Connecting LiqPay, Fondy or WayForPay, calculating Nova Poshta delivery, choosing a branch inside the cart.

Admin panel. What you will work with daily: adding products, processing orders, changing prices. An awkward admin costs you hours every week.

Integrations are a separate cost

These are what usually turn a ₴40,000 budget into a ₴90,000 one. Rough prices:

  • Payment gateway — ₴5,000 – 12,000 to connect
  • Nova Poshta (branches, rates, waybills) — ₴8,000 – 15,000
  • Sync with 1C or BAS — from ₴20,000
  • Feeds to Prom, Rozetka — ₴10,000 – 25,000
  • CRM (KeyCRM, Bitrix) — ₴10,000 – 20,000
  • Supplier stock sync — from ₴15,000

A tip that saves money: connect only what the store cannot run without at launch. Payment and delivery are mandatory. Accounting sync can wait six months, until you know your order volume and where it hurts.

What costs money after launch

A store differs from a landing page in that it is not a project but a system that keeps living.

Item Monthly
Hosting and domain ₴300 – 1,500
Technical support ₴3,000 – 10,000
Catalogue population from ₴5,000
Google Ads from ₴8,000 budget
SEO promotion ₴15,000 – 30,000

We covered that last line in detail in how much SEO costs. For a store it is not a luxury: the range and structure keep changing, and a one-off optimisation goes stale within months.

Own store or a marketplace

A question worth asking before spending money.

Prom or Rozetka give traffic from day one but take a 10–20% commission, keep you away from your customer base and can change the rules at any moment. You are renting a shop window.

Your own store gives nothing for the first months, but the customers are yours, there is no commission, and the site is an asset that grows in value.

The sensible route for most: start on a marketplace for turnover, build your own store in parallel and gradually move repeat buyers there. That way you do not lose sales during the launch.

Cost by niche

Where not to save

  1. Speed. A store that takes over three seconds loses buyers before the catalogue appears. Check yours with our speed audit.
  2. Mobile version. More than half of orders come from phones, and checkout has to work flawlessly there.
  3. Backups. Losing your order database is not an inconvenience, it is a stopped business. How to set them up is in our article on website backups.
  4. Analytics. Without it you will not know at which step people abandon the cart.

In short

A realistic online store budget in 2026 is ₴35,000 – 80,000 for development plus from ₴15,000 a month on support, content and traffic.

The most common mistake is counting development only. A store with no budget for traffic and catalogue work will sit empty no matter how much was paid for it.
