Website for a Custom furniture maker website development — BB STUDIO custom furniture maker

A custom furniture client does not buy off the shelf — they want to see their kitchen in their flat, with an approximate price, before the measurer arrives. So a made-to-order furniture website is not a gallery of pretty kitchens from Pinterest, but a tool that gives a price guideline, shows real work with dimensions and materials, and books a free measurement.

We build furniture workshop websites around the “saw it → priced it → booked the measurer” funnel: a portfolio filterable by type, style and budget, an honest calculator, material and hardware pages for search queries, measurement booking with a calendar. Custom code that carries hundreds of project photos without slowing down on a phone.

Who we build furniture websites for

Kitchens and office furniture are sold to different people by different logic — so the websites differ. Four typical clients:

Kitchen manufacturer

The highest ticket and the longest decision: the client browses dozens of projects, compares fronts and worktops, calculates. The site has to walk them from inspiration to measurement — without scaring them off with “price on request”.

Sliding wardrobes and walk-in closets

The decision is faster and simpler, competition is tougher. Here the winner is whoever's calculator shows a price in 30 seconds and whose measurer comes tomorrow. The site has to be short and fast.

Made-to-order upholstered furniture

A sofa is chosen by shape, fabric and filling — the site has to show configurations, fabric samples in close-up and give a price for each. Plus a “How we make it” page from the workshop — that is trust.

Cabinet furniture for offices and HoReCa

The customer is a business that wants to see completed projects, timelines and a quote request form. Here the site is closer to B2B: cases with photos of offices and cafés, standard solutions, documents.

Why a template does not work for a custom furniture website

  • The client is not buying something ready-made — they need to picture their own. A gallery without filters by style, type and budget is a hundred photos among which they will not find “a modern single-run kitchen under ₴80k”. And they will go where they can.
  • “The price depends on the project” — true, but the client still wants a guideline. Without a calculator or at least prices under each project, they decide it is expensive and do not call, although your budget would have suited them.
  • Measurement and visualisation are separate funnel steps a template does not have. A “leave your number” form does not explain what happens next: a measurer will come, in how many days, free or not, when the design will be ready. The client fears a hard sell and does not leave the number.
  • Materials and hardware — Egger, Blum, Hettich, quartz, HPL — are separate search queries and separate pages explaining how they differ. In a template it is a list of names in the footer that explains nothing and brings nobody.
  • Hundreds of large project photos bring a template site to its knees on a phone. And the furniture client looks precisely at photos, precisely on a phone, in the evening on the sofa. A slow gallery is a closed tab.

What a furniture workshop website structure includes

Seven modules that take the client from “nice kitchen” to “come and measure”:

01

Filterable portfolio

Type (kitchen, wardrobe, walk-in closet, kids' room), style, layout, front material, budget. Instant filters, no reload. In a minute the client sees ten projects similar to what they want.

02

Project page with dimensions and price

Photos from different angles, dimensions, front and worktop materials, hardware, what this specific project cost and how long it took. Plus a “I want one like this” form linked to the project.

03

Approximate cost calculator

Furniture type, linear metres or dimensions, front grade, worktop, hardware — and a price range immediately, without “leave your number and we will calculate”. We ask for the number after the figure, to send the estimate.

04

“How we work” page

Measurement → design and visualisation → contract and deposit → production → installation → warranty. With timelines for each stage and a clear answer to what is free and what is not. Removes the fear of a hard sell.

05

Material and hardware pages

Egger, Blum, Hettich, MDF vs chipboard, quartz vs acrylic — each page explains the difference in plain language, shows your projects with that material and collects search queries competitors ignore.

06

Measurement booking

A calendar with the measurer's free days by district, a convenient time slot, Viber confirmation. The client sees the measurement is free and non-binding — and books.

07

About the workshop

Photos of the workshop, equipment, team, material stock. Not “modern production” but specifics: which machines, how many people, how many projects a month. The client trusts who they can see.

Integrations for a furniture workshop website

A furniture workshop needs integrations that turn curiosity into a measurement and stop leads getting lost between the manager and the shop floor:

Calculator → CRM

Every calculation with its parameters and contact lands in the CRM as a lead. The manager calls already knowing the person wants a 3.2-metre kitchen with MDF fronts within a ₴90k budget.

Measurement booking with a calendar

The measurer sees the day's route on their phone, the client gets a confirmation and reminder on Viber. No notebook, no “can we do tomorrow” reshuffles.

3D visualisations in the gallery

Renders from your design software — PRO100, Bazis, Woody — sit next to photos of completed projects: the client sees the design and the result match.

Online deposit

After the design is approved, the client pays the deposit via LiqPay or Monobank by link — no office visit. The order goes into production a day sooner.

Telegram bot with projects

The client picks a type and style in the bot — and gets a selection of your projects with prices and a measurement button. Works like a consultant in the messenger where the client already spends the evening.

Reviews and analytics

Google Maps reviews on project pages, while calculations and measurement bookings go to GA4 and ads as conversions. You see which projects and materials actually bring orders.

Site builder, template or a custom workshop website — which to choose

We compare on what decides whether the client gets as far as a measurement:

Where a furniture workshop's clients come from online

The furniture client takes a long time to get inspired and decides quickly — the site has to catch them at both stages:

SEO by type and material

“Custom kitchen Kyiv”, “sliding wardrobe for a hallway”, “kitchen with Egger fronts” — type and material pages with a live project selection collect these queries for years. The cheapest channel in the niche.

Google Ads with the calculator as a magnet

Ads lead not to the home page but to the calculator or the portfolio of a specific type. The person gets a figure in 30 seconds — a far cheaper lead than from a “leave your number” form.

Pinterest and Instagram as inspiration

The client collects a kitchen board for months. Your projects with a link to the project page with a price — that is the moment inspiration turns into a measurement.

YouTube with installation and workshop footage

A three-minute video of a kitchen being installed from boxes to the last handle sells better than any text about quality. We embed it in project pages and on the “How we work” page.

How much a furniture workshop website costs

The price depends on the portfolio size, whether you need a calculator and with what logic, how many furniture types and whether you have a CRM. Three typical configurations:

Landing page for one furniture type

from 7 days
from ₴9,900

Only sliding wardrobes or only kitchens: portfolio, a simple calculator, work stages, a measurement form, reviews. A fast start for advertising.

Get a quoteGet a quote

Workshop website

2–4 weeks
from ₴19,900

A filterable portfolio, project pages with prices, a calculator using your formula, type and material pages, measurement booking, about the workshop, an SEO structure for your city.

Workshop with configurator and CRM

from 4 weeks
from custom quote

Everything above plus a visual configurator for fronts and colours, CRM and measurer-calendar integration, a client account with order status, online deposits, a B2B section for interior designers.

An exact quote is free and takes 15 minutes after your request. Bring to the briefing how you price a kitchen today — the calculator will grow out of that.

Our approach to furniture workshop websites

Our experience

In our portfolio we show projects our clients allowed us to publish, so we do not pass off other people's workshops as ours. What makes a furniture website work — a large filterable gallery that does not slow down on a phone, project pages with dimensions and prices, a calculator with your logic, an admin panel where a craftsman adds a new project in five minutes — we have proven on e-commerce projects with big catalogs. See our delivered work, and we will discuss the specifics of your workshop at the briefing.

Speed Responsive SEO base Integrations

Mistakes we see on other furniture websites

Before starting we go through the workshops in your city. Here is what repeats almost everywhere:

  1. Stock kitchen photos from Pinterest in the portfolio. The client recognises them — and stops believing the prices, timelines and reviews along with the photos.
  2. “The price depends on the project” with no guideline at all. The client decides it is expensive and does not call, although your price would have suited them.
  3. Production timelines are nowhere to be found. But for a client mid-renovation, “when will the kitchen be ready” is question number two after price.
  4. A calculator that demands a phone number before it shows a price. Half of clients close it at that step — and you never learn they were there.
  5. A portfolio without materials or dimensions. The client sees a nice kitchen but cannot tell whether it is MDF or veneer, three metres or five, and cannot estimate their own.
  6. A “book a measurement” form with no explanation of what happens next: who comes, when, how much, whether it is binding. The client fears a hard sell — and does not leave the number.

What to prepare before starting the workshop website

The more of this you have at the briefing, the shorter the timeline. The first two items are mandatory:

  1. Photos of 20–30 completed projects: not renders, but installed furniture at clients' homes, in daylight, from several angles.
  2. For each project: type, dimensions, front and worktop materials, hardware, what it cost, how long it took. At least in a spreadsheet.
  3. How you price today: per linear metre, per square metre of front, per project. The calculator will grow out of this.
  4. The list of materials and hardware you work with — and how they differ for the client in simple words.
  5. Work stages with timelines: measurement, design, production, installation — and which of them are free.
  6. Photos of the workshop, equipment and team. Not stock — yours. This is what separates a manufacturer from a middleman.

Glossary: terms you will hear from us during the project

Project page
A dedicated page for one project with photos, dimensions, materials, price and timeline. Not a picture in a gallery but a full landing page that collects queries and leads to a measurement.
Calculator
A form that uses your formula to calculate an approximate price range from the client's parameters — and shows it before asking for contact. The main lead magnet for advertising in the furniture niche.
Configurator
A visual tool where the client picks fronts, colours and hardware themselves and sees the result. More expensive than a calculator and not needed by everyone — usually justified above a certain order volume.
Lazy-load
A way of loading photos only when the client scrolls to them. Thanks to it, a portfolio of 300 large photos opens on a phone in a second, not twenty.
Material page
A landing page for a material or hardware query — “kitchen with Egger fronts”, “Blum hardware”. Explains the difference and shows your projects using that material. Collects traffic competitors ignore.

In most cases a calculator is enough: it gives the client a figure in 30 seconds and leads to a measurement. A configurator costs more and pays off when you have a large flow and standardised modules. We recommend starting with a calculator and adding a configurator once you see the demand.

In two ways at once: a price under every completed project (“this kitchen cost ₴96,000”) and a calculator with a “from — to” range. The client gets a guideline, you do not tie yourself to an exact figure — you name that after the measurement.

The site itself — 2–4 weeks. Populating 100 projects depends on whether photos and data are ready: if they are in a spreadsheet — a few days; if they have to be collected from craftsmen's phones — longer. We recommend launching with the best 20–30 and adding the rest after launch.

Yes: after the design is approved, the manager sends the client a link, they pay via LiqPay or Monobank from their phone, the order changes status automatically. No office visit and no “transfer to a card”.

Yes, for the main ones: MDF, veneer, laminate and glass fronts; quartz, acrylic and HPL worktops; Blum, Hettich, GTV hardware. Each page explains the difference in simple words and automatically shows your projects using that material.

You, from a phone, in five minutes: photos, type, dimensions, materials, price — and the project appears in the right filters and on the material pages. No developer needed. Or we do it, if you take a support plan.

A landing page for one furniture type — from 7 days. A workshop site with calculator and portfolio — 2–4 weeks. With configurator and CRM — from 4 weeks. The longest part is usually preparing project photos on your side.
